I have had fibre broadband for 10 months and until about 3 weeks ago it has been totally fine. Now it seems to be cutting out momentarily causing issues for both my online gaming and working from home. Also a nuisance for streaming radio and video content. I'm having issues on multiple devices a mix of wireless & wired to the router.
I have seen other comments indicate an issue with the HG633 router and the latest v1.20t firmware. Which is what I have.
I have also logged into the router and checked the log and can see loads of entries that state security warning like this sort of thing:
00:53:26 24/10/2016 | Security | Warning | Intrusion -> src=120.1.70.232 DST=79.71.54.152 LEN=40 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=48 ID=47953 PROTO=TCP SPT=28904 DPT=23 WINDOW=4047 |
Not sure what that means or if it's related.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue/can I rollback to an earlier firmware to see if that fixes the issue??
Honestly after receiving the letter confirming the pricing change I'm thinking of just taking advantage of that to move to another provider for a more stable service.
Any help will be appreciated.
