Hello folks, I've just switched from the standard ADSL service to Faster Fibre (was convinced this was a good value switch by the recent marketing for the fixed price packages). I'm only a day in, but my "Faster Fibre" speeds (and I've also opted for the super-fast boost) are nowhere near the 70-odd mbps I had hoped for. I'm lucky to get 25mbps. My upload speed has massively improved (from just under 1mbps to nearly 20), but given I used to have 17mbps for download I had expected something much more than what I've got. I know that DLM takes a while to optimisze this line... how long should this take? I've done the usual "connect the router directly to the master socket / change the filter" etc. No change. I've rebooted the router a couple of times this morning, but still no difference. Voice line is perfect. Exchange is about 500 meters from my house and green cabinet is actually outside my front door. Do I just need to wait a few days for things to settle? Anything else I can do? Thanks, Rob.
