Poor performance - OCEs please stop ignoring me

Why is my problem being ignored by the OCEs? I originally posted two days ago & haven’t had an answer whereas others start a thread & get a response within hours.

We just upgraded to fibre & while initially the download speed was 30% better than the old ADSL now it is barely faster at all.

I have provided the TalkTalk phone number in my profile. I have done everything that I can to troubleshoot but still the download speed is barely any different to the previous ADSL & the ping times are awful. Still the HG633 is stuck on the old 1.15t firmware. I have switched off for 30 minutes with no difference after restart.

I just did a Speedtest over a wired connection & get:

Ping 145 ms Download 18.38 Mbps Upload 1.62 Mbps

Ping results :-

Ping has started…

PING google.co.uk (62.24.213.227): 56 data bytes

64 bytes from 62.24.213.227: icmp_seq=0 ttl=61 time=48.010 ms

64 bytes from 62.24.213.227: icmp_seq=1 ttl=61 time=45.544 ms

64 bytes from 62.24.213.227: icmp_seq=2 ttl=61 time=28.430 ms

64 bytes from 62.24.213.227: icmp_seq=3 ttl=61 time=46.955 ms

Here is the text of my original thread:-

We just upgraded to Fibre & went live this afternoon & have been underwhelmed by the improvement. Upload speed is double what it was but download only 30% more & the ping times are absolutely dreadful.
Speed tested on a MacBook Pro connected by Ethernet cable to the HG633.

This is a typical result from speedtest.net

Ping 85ms Download 22.88 Upload 1.80

The HG633 is on firmware v1.15t which is evidently not the latest version so is this the problem?

I would appreciate if someone can fix this.
