Interleaved now?

Let me start off by saying that i know TalkTalk have no control over fibre DLM changes, this isn't about that. Also, even though we're on interleaved we're still synced at our max speed, speedtests show around 30 ping as we usually get. My brother says everything is good multiplayer wise. Nothing seems or feels different internet wise. I have some general questions about DLM and other stuff.

So i, like many here have had some spontanious router reboots since the 1.21 firmware update due to PS4 streaming. Nothing major, we don't have a PS4 here permanently and it didn't affect our internet performance. (I see some people are getting firmware rollbacks but last time we tried that our router didn't like it).

This weekend we were moving some furniture so i had to unplug the router for about 30 minutes. After moving stuff around i was watching something on my Xbox One and noticed an internet drop, sure enough the router had PS4 rebooted itself again. Throughout the afternoon/evening my Xbox continued to drop from the wireless channel though i think the new furniture was interfering with the WiFi signal.

However at 8:10am on Sunday we had a brief disconnect/reconnect and checking the router log showed no hardware reboot, but there were a load of these 'User ACS ... Modify'/'CWMP Inform' logs post reconnect repeated over and over about a dozen times (Same thing happened this morning at 7:00am). These are from a this morning but it was these 5 repeated;

  • 07:01:12 13/12/2016 User Level Notice CWMP inform message: period report.
  • 07:01:12 13/12/2016 User Level Notice CWMP inform message: event: 2 PERIODIC.
  • 07:01:10 13/12/2016 User Level Notice CWMP:Cwmp post inform success.
  • 07:01:10 13/12/2016 User Level Notice CWMP or STUN parameter be changed.
  • 07:01:10 13/12/2016 User Level Notice User ACS(62.24.243.161) modify ManagementServer.PeriodicInformEnable; ManagementServer.PeriodicInformTime; ManagementServer.PeriodicInformInterval; .

Checking my connection status i noticed our line was now Interleaved, though still synced at our full speeds both down and up, and everything else seemed good. Googling a bit my theory is that the line may have changed when the router was off for 30 mins, with the PS4 reboots being a factor also. Every other time i've checked our connection before that our line has been on Fast. Even when our connection would drop every 15 minutes or our power went out for a few hours before, our line stayed on Fast.

We never have any actual errors on our line, never have that i've seen. No noise or crackling on our line. Any connection issues we've had are due to the wonderful HG633 routers WiFi, firmware causing disconnects or reboots, powerline adapters de-syncing/dying or remote maintenance/downtime on TalkTalk's end. On a direct wired connection our internet is spotless, but unfortunately we can't have wires running throughout our whole house...

So a few questions.

Firstly; is there any way of telling when the line was changed to interleaved other than guesswork on my end? I know you can't change the line but can you at least see that info, or perhaps get that info from BT?

Second; i've mentioned before that we're on an electric meter here and that it sometimes goes out, usually late-week for a few minutes while we put the emergency on. Would this be an issue for DLM? It's never been an issue before but my worry is that going from interleaved to fast it would be much more of a factor regarding line change or even lower our speed at some point.

Third; any info on the logs I posted above and what they mean. I've seen them before after reconnects and in other threads here people have said it's a remote connection thing related to firmware update, but i'm on the latest firmware and still see them.

Lastly; even though we're pretty much the same on interleaved, is there any advice you can give regarding the process of DLM and being put back on Fast? I'd like the peace of mind knowing our line is on Fast.

Long post i know but when i saw 'interleaved' i panicked and have been keeping an eye on it since.
