I was already a long time broadband customer of TalkTalk & (AOL) and had my line rental with BT. I decided I wanted to combine my broadband & line rental, so I opted to order TalkTalk faster fibre including line rental and anytime calls. Placed my order on 28th November 2016, was told I would be sent a new super router and that an appointment had been made for an engineer to visit me on my go live date of 12th December 2016.
I tracked progress of my order in 'My Account' and noticed a message that there was a problem with my order. Phoned TalkTalk, was told that my order had been refused and there was no reason why that was. Had to re order my package and was given a new go live date of 21st December 16, told that I would receive a new router a few days before this, but now informed that an engineer dosen't need to vist me. In 'My Account' still showing my go live date as 12th December 16.
So 19th December still not received my new Super router, phoned TalkTalk, was now told that I would not receive a new router.....??
21st December, my go live date.....Nothing happened...Phoned TalkTalk, was told my services would go live before midnight. (Which they didn't).
22nd December...my services still not up and running...Phoned TalkTalk, wasn't really given a clear explanation of why my services are not active and that I would now have to wait 2 more days and someone will phone me to hopefully give me an update to my order.
Every time I call I'm told one thing but next I'm told something different, seems no-one at TalkTalk knows what there doing.....
