Why is my connection banded?

My connection has been stable for the previous 128+ days with my initial sync at 59995kbps at the start. Over the past 128 days it has not dropped or had a re-sync although the SNRM had dropped over time to around 4.3db and attainable sync speed dropped to around 55000kbps but the modem did not drop or resync at all during this time.

Yesterday evening my modem/router had an issue unconnected with the line as it stopped allowing telnet access to it, and so required a power cycle to resume telnet access. This of course triggered a re-sync.

Judging by the values I was seeing before the resync I expected to see an actual sync speed of somewhere between 550000 and 59995 kbps at an SNRM of around 6db. However after the resync my attainable was at around 64000kbps with an SNRM of 7.4 db and an actual sync of 59995kbps. This is not correct as the negotiated SNRM on this router should have been around 6db which would have resulted in an actual sync speed of a bit under the 64000kbps. Seeing such a specific value of 59995kbps and the SNRM being above 6db is indicative of my line being capped or banded at that sync speed. I know my line and rouer are capable of running much faster as last year before G.INP was removed I had speeds in excess of 70000kbps.

So I need someone to contact your network team to explain why my line is capped or banded at this speed and get it removed so that I can sync at 6db now and in future when BT roll out the lower SNRM values I will see the benefit.
