We recently upgraded to fibre in December and our speeds have slowly gotten worse and worse over time.
Currently our router tells us our downstream line rate is running at 17999 kbit/s and our upstream rate at 2000 kbit/s
When I run a speed test on a wired connection I get around 4.7 mbps download speeds and 1.9 mbps upload.
Even to begin with our speed with fibre wasn't incredible but these speeds right now are well below even standard broadband speeds. Before we upgraded to fibre our speeds would have been about 5 times as fast as what we're getting right now.
So effectively, I'm paying more money for less.
Any help or insight into what is going on would be much appreciated.
