Hello i am switching over from Sky Fibre, however i am really confused by the process.
- 29/11/15 Order processed
- 10/12/15 Call from Talktalk to inform me bt openreach will be at the exchange on the 11/12 and i will have confirmation of my go live on the 14/12
- 11/12/15 BT openreach needed access to my property (as i was geeting a new phone line although i had a phone line). Engineer damaged property(taken up with BT)
- 14/12/15 Emails and Txts to confirm go live date of the 21/12.
- 15/12/15 email and txt saying engineer is coming on the 17/12
- 15/12/15 phone call from Talktalk saying engineer is coming on 17/12. When questioned what they are doing as i have had an engineer already visit the property I was told oh they will just go to the exchange no need to be in.
- 15/12/15 i phoned CS to find out what is going on will i have an engineer coming round on the 17/12 and if i need to be present as i didn't want to be billed for not being in. I was informed no we called to say the 21/12.
can someone please tell me what day i need to be available 17/12 or 21/12?
what happens between engineer coming to property on the 17/12 and switchover on the 21/12 do i stay have internet access via sky?
