Slow Fibre (after 6 months of being good)

Hi,

Been with TT Fibre for nearly a year.

For the first 6 months or so, my broadband speeds were around 22Mb - which I was reasonably happy with.

Around November, it started to get slower and slower - and for the last 2 months or so has been sitting around 4Mb - and of late has dropping on occasions to around 1 Mb. For some reason my upload speed is fairly consistent at around 10Mb.

Last week I contacted TT - who arranged for an Openreach engineer to visit. He was at the telephone exchange - and then he then visited my house and did a test. He showed the line to be over 38Mb. (This was him testing up to and including the cable that serves the router). He said that being close to the BT cabinet meant I was getting a fast connection. My own speed test showed that I was getting around 22 to 24Mb. He claimed to have done nothing at the exchange??

My major disappointment is that over the next few hours my speed dropped back to around 4Mb.

Nothing has changed in my house that would affect the connection.

My phone has no issues.

Any suggestions on how to go forward? At least with my ADSL connection I got 10Mb!

Thanks.
