This problem is driving me and my family nuts. Its been going on for some time now and even though I have stuck with Tiscali/TalkTalk for years and subscribe to pretty much every service they offer, I'm close to throwing the towel in.
I'm convinced that it’s the BT modem that at the centre of the issue. I’ve noticed that when the connection is stable, the icon labelled “Fibre” on the TalkTalk router blinks slowly but as soon as the connection drops, the icon flashes very quickly. I usually fix the issue by unplugging and re-connecting the Ethernet cable that runs from the BT modem to the TalkTalk router.
Either that or the Fibre icon blinks slowly as normal but the "Internet" icon goes red. I thought I'd try on here before taking a deep breath and calling the helpline.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
