Hello all,
New Member here so go easy!!
I have fibre with Talktalk and a Huawei HG635 router. When I got home from work last night my laptop, which i'd used normally in work all day, would not connect wirelessly as it normally does.
I spent most of last night trying to work out where the issue may be. Here's what I know so far :
4 other devices at home all connect and work normally. 3 are wireless and one is cabled to the router.
The laptop has never done this before. It works connected via cable to the router.
I've come back into work this morning, and the laptop connects wirelessly as usual.
At home last night the laptop could occasionally find the router, asked for the password and then could not connect.
It connects to my phone via wireless tethering.
I've logged into the router via my tablet and changed the wireless channels twice - all other devices connect as usual and work straight away.
I've also rebooted numerous times both the laptop and the router - again all the other devices work well.
Anyone got any ideas? I don't think it's the laptop as it connects in work and to my phone, the other devices all work perfectly well.
The laptop is a HP Pavilion and is running Windows 10 (upgraded before Christmas)
I don't know what else to try - please can someone help?!
Thanks in advance!!
