TalkTalk unable to activate my Broadband

Hi was wondering if anyone has had a problem like mine, i have just swapped from BT to TalkTalk my activation date was the 12th Jan this was yesterday, on the 11th i was still able to use my BT broadband (all working fine) come the date of Talktalk activation i connected the broadband router as the instructions said the same way the BT router was already set up proir and turned the router on, no connection OK , tried all the trubleshotting given by the website and still no connection, so phone talktalk thinging it will be something simple as my line was working fine on the 11th Jan, customer service person asked me to turn the router of and on!!!! so i did, low and behold still no connection, so thought right they will check the line find the fault and sort it easy, no decided that a engineer need to be sent out to check that ive plugged in the three cables!!!!!! this call out from an enginner may possibly cost £30!!! WHAT! so explained that it cant be a problem on my end as i had a working line less that 24hrs ealier, so the customer support person said she will send the matter to the managment and they will call me back within 24......48...72 hrs this was 7hrs ago....i know this to be a lie as ive delt with this kind of customer support fob off before and everytime ive had to call them back myself. if you have had the same problem how was it solved.
