I seem to be having trouble with my Toshiba "works with Alexa" tv. I am sure when i purchased this tv back in May it worked ok but over the last few months I am getting a response from my echo dot of not being able to talk. I contacted both Amazon, Toshiba and AO whom i purchased the TV from. Amazon state no problems with my echo's. Toshiba gave me a method to re-set my TV and AO managed to get Toshiba to send me an update for the TV. None seem to work. If i turn off the TV at the mains it works for around a day. After the update and also the factory re-set it lasted 2 to 3 days before getting the message "tv isn't responding, Please check its network connection and power supply"
Today I have been into my router and find if I hover over the Toshiba TV ethernet symbol it shows "Lease time: with a decreasing time from 23 hours 59 minutes... I think this may be the problem whereby it disconnects every 24 hours and the echo cannot reconnect.
Could i be correct and if so how do i make the lease time to several years.???
