 Logs buffer over loading,  after hard reset still not connecting

its after midnight and the service keeps dropping every minute or so. You sent me a new router which helped a bit but this is terrible. why am i paying for utterly dreadful service?

Internet very slow early in the morning

for the past couple of weeks I have woken up to very slow internet, which has required a reboot of the router to fix. I did tests this morning and yesterday on www.supportal-test.co.uk and put in my phone number at the end so you should have the results. I've attached a screenshot as well.

 

 

Tests done over Ethernet, not wifi. Reboot gets the speed back up to over 20megs.

 

Internal network, both wifi and ethernet, work fine when this occurs, I can still steam videos across the network and copy files with no slow down.

 

If you check this account you will see fibre slowing down has been a constant problem since it was installed

I am having an issue to change the IP address on the router:

Hardware Version FAST5364 3.00

Software Version SG4K10001400t

GUI Version 1.152.6


when trying to change the IP there is red bar below the IP box with "invalid IP Address"

 

Could you please update the firmware?

is there a link where we can download the firmware?

I don't have any problems and I'm not experiencing any issues, but I read that there is a newer firmware update available but so far the hub has not updated itself to it.

 

If it's possible, please could I receive the latest update?

No PTPP VPN connection with Dlink DSL-3782 router

I am unable to connect to my work VPN and I am being blocked from using Team Viewer which is used by my IT support service provider. I currently can't work from home and this in causing great inconvenience.  I have been in touch with the helpline but to-date they have not been able to resolve my connectivity problem.  I found this thread by chance (see above) after an IT colleague informed me that they had previously come across the problem! Please can you send me a new router asap.

 

Any help will be appreciated as I feel I am going around the houses!!!

Talktalk Business Hub L2TP control port forward

I need to be able to forward 1701 to an internal address, but I just get an error that states:

 

The range of external port cannot include 7547,514,68,53,546,500,1701,8443,8080,990,5060,28090,50000-50020.

 

I need the port forwarded for the L2TP IPSEC server on my network for remote users to access!

Hi, at the moment I have fast broadband at £19.95 and the faster fibre boost at £2.50 is it possible to cancel the faster fibre boost without penalty as I really do not need this, I cannot see where I can cancel this myself.

WiFi hub no connection

Hi

i received my hub this morning I switched off broadband at lunchtime (all working well)

came home from work, connected new hub... after 30 minutes of constant orange light, I switched it off and tried again.

no joy.

went back to old router, power on, green wireless light flashing... no other lights on.

there is a dialing tone on phone, but no internet connection 

help/ advice please

I have fibre speed boost, which incidentally was added from within an email i received from TalkTalk without me even needing to login to my account.

How do I cancel this boost, all other boosts can easily be added or removed online from within my account but I can't find anywhere to cancel this boost.

Getting less than 1mbps download on wired and wireless

Hi all, as the title says, up until about 1pm today the Internet was fine, nothings changed inside the house, but all of a sudden the speeds have dropped from 50mbps to less than 1 mbps, as you can imagine everything requiring Internet is practically unusable, talk talk have said there's no faults on the line or at least the online tests haven't found anything, I've seen a few other people with this issue also, how can we fix this ASAP? I do not have other routers I can use, I only have the one supplied to me by talk talk around 3 months ago, Fast 5364 is my router model.

Hi,

we have setup a website and can access it via any ISP except TalkTalk. Kids safe is off and as it a business site for the support of disabled children and parents , we obviously don't want to exclude anyone who uses TalkTalk. Initially we thought that the website was being blocked by TalkTalk but your Customer Security Team have said that this is not the case. However when we try to use the site via TalkTalk we get the message that the site cannot be reached, please can you help?

drop in speed

Hi, i received the new ''super hub'' today, set it all up, waited 30 minutes from disconnecting my old router D-Link 3782. My 3782 was reporting a sync speed of 69mbps, super hub went in and reported a sync speed of 66mbps, rebooted itself and now syncs at 64. I am aware of DLM and what it does, but i re-contracted because this router is supposed to be the best ever in terms of signal and speed. Will my line speed back up?

 

Just to make you aware this is running firmware version SG4K10001400t

Hi there.

 

I have just received my new fibre router and my new speeds are amazing.

 

I now have a spare router ADSL router (DSL-3782) and am wondering whether I might use this to connect my ethernet only Samsung TV to the new network - i.e. using the 3782 as a wireless bridge.

 

Is this possible?  I have looked through the settings and there is an option for Bridge, but I have no idea how to set this up.

Hi all. I'm quite PC savvy but at a loss here. I have been using my IP camera with no issues at all (always with talktalk). But since receiving the new latest router I cant get it to connect using cot pro android app. I'm aware it may not work using 5hz so am just using 2.4hz. But it just want connect. App says something about A P settings on the router admin page.

Can anyone help have you come across this frustration issue? Is there something I can try?

Since getting my WiFi hub a couple of months I’ve generally been happy with it, the connection seems ok and I don’t get issues using WiFi upstairs anymore like I did with my old router. 

 

Ive just got one problem in that I have a synology nas and the fact that the WiFi hub doesn’t support nat loopback causes me a few headaches. 

 

Would it be possible to enable this as an option in a future firmware please?

Hello,

I've just checked and it seems the router that you supplied me with when I had Fibre installed, a couple of years ago, was manufactured by Huawei. As you probably know, there has been much media coverage over security issues with Huawei products with the new 5G rollouut.

I would like to know, are there any security issues you are aware of with these Huawei routers, and also will you be exchanging these Huawei routers to a more trusted brand? Thanks for your help.

I have 2 wireless access points attached to my HG633 Router on my fibre broadband.

 

I would like to restrict which access point accesses which IP ranges that are allocated by DHCP

GFast fibre checker not working

Hi all,

 

Sorry if this is the wrong section. I'm trying to use the GFast fibre checker for my area however its not working.

 

After putting in my address it begins to load then goes back to the enter address form.

 

GFast is currently available with other providers such as EE and BT to hopefully I can get it. 

 

Any assistance would be appropriated into why the checker isn't working 😞
