Issue with Sagemcom-FAST5364
Hiya!
Please could you look at providing a replacement Sagemcom-FAST5364? It drops my internal wireless connection at least three to four times a day - I am able to reconnect straight away.
This is across both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands and across any device on which we use wireless. The router has not been moved anywhere else in the house and the wiring has not changed or been altered in any way. I have also checked with neighbours that they've not suddenly become radio hams or anything! (I know how REIN can produce strange results! LOL)
Appreciated - regards to all

X box One wired connection keeps breaking
Hi
My X-box One wired connection doesn't seem to be stable following the arrival of my latest (there have been a few) router. It's a Sagemcom Router, the one with a single light at the front and 5 ports at the back. Since receiving the router, I started using wi-fi, but that skips every now and again and I'd rather use wired, if possible. I tried reducing the firewall settings, but this had no effect. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much
Up to 76Mbps Fibre is only syncing at 40.8Mbps when it was once at 60+Mbps
My Router sync speed with the exchange has dropped right down to 40.8Mbps. It was once up around the 58-60+ Mbps but over time it has dropped.
The online chat guy ended up reseting the router than many times trying to troubleshoot general speed it actually made the connection speed worse. Constantly reseting a connection doesn't play nice with the OpenReach tech - someone needs to add this to the online chat script!
Could someone please reset my connection as if day 1 so Openreach relearns the proper sync speed?
If they can't and I'm not able to get the connection speed I previously had, will I be able to terminate my contract so I can go across to another provider that has a guarantee of 55Mbps?
seems to be dropping connection
Hello all,
noticed lately that we seem to be hit or miss with our connection, one day it is ok the next some devices won't connect, and we have to reset them to connect again.
could you please give our line a quick check and see that all is fine as we seem to be getting a few disconnections overall.
thank you, billybob
When will I get fibre broadband?
Hi,
I have been informed by BT that I am able to get FTTP (Fibre to the premises) from them, but I cannot get any sort of upgrade through talktalk who I currently have a contract with.
I would preferably prefer to stay with Talktalk, but I would like to know when I will be able to upgrade.
Thanks,
Mark
VPN not working after house move and new contract
After moving house a couple of weeks ago my VPN is now not working. New 18 month contract on the Unlimited, uncapped speeds (40/10) package using my own Fritz!box 3490. I need this to work from home and be on call.
Can this block on VPN use be lifted?
Inform customers if they can never get the boost on fibre
I have been with TT for many years now, I am currently on the basic fibre package (upto 40MB/s)
I recently wanted to upgrade to the faster fibre boost (after I received an offer through the post) but I was told this is not possible and never would be, however BT claim I can get the speed boost (upto 70MB/s)
Considering both BT & TT use the same infrastructure, why can BT supply this boost yet TT cannot?
I am more than happy with the service I have received from TT in the last 4/5 years, but I fear I may have to take my business elsewhere to get a faster speed and I think you should inform customers at sign-up of the absolute maximum they can ever achieve over FTTC, had I known upto 40MB/s was the fastest I could ever receive from TT I would have not have continually renewed my contract.
New Hub
I just received the new FAST router from TT, I'm getting 15.3 mb download which is less than the TT635 which I get 18.5 mb download, also the new FAST hub is twice the size and ugly with the brown colour showing through the front grill. I cannot understand why people are saying that the new hub is better tech? I didn't notice any difference apart from the lower speed, can anyone tell me why it's better? genuine question
I've now gone back to the TT635
Speed dropped from guaranteed 55Mbit to 35-45Mbit
My TalkTalk Faster Fibre speed boost has in recent weeks dropped from the minimum guaranteed router sync speed of 55Mb to just 35-45Mb.
It was initially down to 35Mb and I tried switching off the router for 30 minutes and connecting again.
I keep the router switched on 24/7 and only switched it off because the speed had decreased to 35Mbit.
After switching off for 30 minutes the router sync speed was still stuck on 35Mbit for a week. It has over the last few days increased to 45Mbit but it is still below the minimum router sync speed of 55Mbit.
The router is connected to the Master Socket which is labelled as Master Socket 5C with an Openreach MK4 filtered faceplate.
There is no extension wiring on the Master Socket.
I have checked the phone line for noise/crackling and it sounds clear.
I have run the TalkTalk “Check Service Status” option and it shows I’m lower than the guaranteed router sync speed.
Can I get the speed put back to the minimum guaranteed speed that I signed up for?
Sagemcom Fast 5364 in operation since 3rd July now unable to use wi-fi, ethernet connection OK
Super router has recently stopped providing wi-fi access, have tried with android ( 2 versions), I-phone and Windows10 without success.
Steam/origin can’t connect properly
I can download from either game store, but as soon as I begin a game, I can’t use any of the online features. Now if I use my iPhone as an access point online gaming works fine. I have.....
Rebooted router
Set my pc ip as a DMZ
set up port forwarding for steam client
reset the router to factory settings (little black button)
it used to work fine, now it doesn’t, so I’m not getting the service I am paying for. Please help
Internet cutting out every few mins and slow
Hi,
About 2 months ago, I went through this for over a month with my speed going down to 1mps and cutting out. I am on a fibre package and used to get 30mbs reliably. I went through live chat, calls, posts on here and eventually only a formal complaint got the issue resolved - or at least fixed to a level I settled for - even though I was down to about 15mps - I had lost the will to pursue it any further.
However, my service has gradually deteriorated in speed since that time - down to about 7mps which isn't what I'm paying for but the bigger problem is it cuts out every few mins so is virtually unusable.
Any help would be much appreciated
Btw, during the last process all the cabling into and inside my flat was replaced, as was my router. The issue was eventually resolved (although it seems it was more of a botch job) by someone doing something at the exchange. So presumably someone needs to go and hit the thing with a spanner again or whatever they did last time.
I am somewhat at my wit's end with this and would have switched providers long ago if it wasn't for the fact that the only other provide in my area is BT and they own all the kit anyway and it's probably their OpenReach guys who are doing the botched repairs anyway.... when 5G comes I think it's bye bye broadband.
Wi-Fi Hub is NAT enabled or Not?
I'm trying to set up (again) port forwarding. In the device info tab I can see "NAT Disabled" - however in Access control NAT is enabled (ON). I am unable to disable the NAT in the Access control without an error. I understand that I need this feature to be enabled before I can get the port forwarding to work. Another issue I have seen is that the unit fails to save user entered info in the Ethernet IP address section - such as device type (ICON) and Location.
Hardware Version FAST5364 3.00

Poor Internet Speed
I've been chatting to an advisor as my speed is only 29.9 with a guaranteed min speed 35.5, He was doing test on my line and as soon as 10pm came my chat was cut, Not very happy with my internet speed or the fact that TalkTalk have finally admitted that i'm not getting my max speed but not help with fixing the problem as I was finally getting somewhere but got cut off!
One android phone connects to network but no internet access

Is it possible to check when the OR DLM made Changes?
Like the title really.
I don't have a specific issue. I'm just trying to work out if/ when the DLM will increase my line speed again.
I think I've identified one DLM change but that was before my current (final) set up and I just want to be able to monitor it going forward.

Fast5364 firmware upgrade request
Hi,
I've just upgraded to a new Wifi hub (Fast5364). Can someone from TT upgrade the firmware to the latest version (currently it's SG4K10001400t) so I can make use of the dhcp address reservation features? My TT phone number is in my profile.
thanks, Arron
