It would seem since yesterday the TT router has the dreaded red flashing light so there is no internet connection on my fibre connection, i have the combined TT router as the old one with the white BT DSL modem failed.
I used the service status but it says the issue with customers having the red light is resolved by turning off and on again the router. This has been done and even left off for 20 minutes yet this problem still exists.
Is this due to exploit of the Mirai worm that has affected TT, Post Office and KCom? The fix located here http://help.talktalk.co.uk/miralwormupdate does not fix my issue.
Please can i have some assistance as i have tried everything within my power to restore service from my side. All the cables have been checked and reseated to.
My contact details are upto date in my profile also.
Router model is Huawei HG633
the help article also states to no perform a hard reset. I have now done this and internet still is red. The behaviour it performs is the internet light stays red, then goes out and the broadband and wireless lightd flash green and then the red internet light comes back and is solid. The power light isnt red as stated in the article so i assume its this worm virus or an issue with my fibre.
Please can i have some assistance as when i phone up they tell you the same old rubbish, power it off, check your filters even though i do bot have any!
